Excellent Container Let Down By Poor Cap Design.. By: Honest Hari, on July 3, 2015 Pros: Cons: "I am amazed at just how good these are. I travel in a motorhome and needed extra water capacity but I was finding it difficult to find a suitable tank to fit into my present water system. These are so light and seem to be very strong. I'm going away for 4 months and on my return I will update this review. Update: I filled 10 of these and stored them in the garage. After a week I noticed that two of them were leaking from the cap. Leaks from the cap By: Hawfinch, on June 9, 2015 Pros: Cons: "I ordered two of the clear ones and received the blue coloured ones instead. That's not a big deal for me. What is more of a problem is that both seem to have caps that don't screw on securely: when I tighten them the cap ends up slightly crooked and doesn't make a proper seal. On one of the bottles this results in a slight drip when I invert it. On the other, the water streams from the cap when inverted. It might be possible to fix this with a washer inside the cap if I can find one the right size... |
